Faith And Healing

In preparation for a prayer service for the sick and ailing, I am writing a series of articles on the Cornerstone Church of Blaine web site. The first article is Faith And Healing. It is a primer that will help those who are interested in participating to get into a right state of mind. You can also participate since God is not limited by time or distance.

The principles we will discuss will not be limited to this event alone, but are to be learned and applied throughout our lives. If we can adjust our way of thinking that will allow us to truly pray, Thy Will Be Done, our lives will change in dramatic ways. The articles to follow will include, faith, healing and God's will for our lives. We will look at specific passages of Scripture that clearly teach on the subject. We will not put God in a box or derive fool proof formulas. We will allow God in His sovereignty to show us what He is doing, and what He wants to do, in our lives. We will learn how to be content with praise and thanksgiving. We will then have the prayer service for those who are willing to take a step of faith and seek God for healing and/or grace to endure.
